That is what this concept was built to create.
The world of Ailes de L'Amour
The colour story begins in the softest register — pale pink that is barely there, dusty rose that deepens as the eye moves toward the centre of the room, blush that catches the light and holds it in a way that warmer colours never quite do. It is a palette that feels instinctively romantic without ever feeling obvious, feminine without being decorative. There is intention in every tone, every shift between them, every decision about where one shade ends and another begins.
Then come the birds.
Thousands of intricate bird motifs woven through the design — in the ceiling installation, in the details of the stage, in the smaller moments that guests discover as the evening unfolds. Not a single focal point but a world of detail, the kind that rewards looking closely and gives the space a richness that photographs only partially capture. The motifs carry the concept’s name into the physical room — wings, everywhere, as though the very air of the celebration has been set in flight.
The atmosphere
Walking into an Ailes de L’Amour wedding is different from walking into most celebrations. The typical experience of a wedding venue is one of arrival — you enter, you see the room, you take it in and move on. Here, the experience is slower. The room is layered enough that guests keep finding things. A detail in the table setting they had not noticed. A motif in the ceiling arrangement that catches the light differently as they move beneath it. A quality to the air that they cannot quite name but that keeps drawing them back into presence.
The lighting is part of this — chosen to deepen the blush tones rather than brighten them, to give the space an hour that feels suspended, as though the evening is moving more gently than evenings usually do. By the time the celebration is fully underway, the room has wrapped itself around its guests in a way that grand spectacle rarely achieves. It feels intimate despite its scale. What Worood created
Ailes de L’Amour is one of the most elaborate concepts in the Worood portfolio — not in terms of excess, but in terms of the number of individual design decisions that had to be made and held in precise relationship to each other. The colour palette, the bird motif design and fabrication, the ceiling installation, the stage architecture, the floral composition, the table settings, the lighting design, the way the ceremony space transitions into the reception — every element was designed in-house and delivered by the Worood team from first sketch to final evening.
