The colour story begins in the softest register \u2014 pale pink that is barely there, dusty rose that deepens as the eye moves toward the centre of the room, blush that catches the light and holds it in a way that warmer colours never quite do. Ailes de L’Amour is one of the most elaborate concepts in the Worood portfolio \u2014 not in terms of excess, but in terms of the number of individual design decisions that had to be made and held in precise relationship to each other. The colour palette, the bird motif design and fabrication, the ceiling installation, the stage architecture, the floral composition, the table settings, the lighting design, the way the ceremony space transitions into the reception \u2014 every element was designed in-house and delivered by the Worood team from first sketch to final evening.<\/p>

Eighteen photographs from this celebration appear in the portfolio above. They show the space from many angles, in many moments. What they cannot fully show is the feeling of being in it \u2014 which is, of course, the point.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
